  • Never leave your doors open or unlocked.
  • A bright outside light is a good deterrent to potential burglars.

  • Never leave your handbag or purse in your trolley, even if it obscured by goods.
  • Never place your wallet or handbag on the counter and then move away even for a few seconds.
  • Beware of pickpockets, bag snatchers in shopping malls.
  • Don't open e-mails or attachments from unknown sources. Be suspicious of any unexpected e-mail attachment, even if it appears to be from someone you know.
  • Change your password on regular basis as per the password policy.
  • Do not share your password with anyone.
  • Always remember to sign out properly after using your mail account.
  • Employ a servant after verifying his antecedents with the help of the nearest Police Station.
  • Never leave spare keys or even the original keys in the open or in the conventional hiding places.
  • Verify the identity of any repairman, salesman etc and allow them access only after informing the security.
  • Do not wear expensive jewellery or take other valuables to the ATM. This is an added incentive to the assailant.
  • All valuables and important papers (jewelry, passports, return tickets, etc) should be kept in your hotel's safe deposit box. Never leave them unattended in your room
  • Avoid carrying large sums of cash on your person.
  • Don’t take the advice of taxi drivers for the purpose of accommodation
  • Do not disclose any personal / private matters before anybody
